Emicode designs and develops corporate websites for Canadian and US businesses from $4,000 CAD, fixed quote after discovery. Every site comes with content editing your own team can handle, bilingual English and French when you need it, and a design system that keeps up as the company grows — usually live in 6 to 10 weeks. We're a Winnipeg web development studio; senior engineers build your site, and there's no marketing package bundled in.

Who a Corporate Website Is For

A corporate website is the right call when your site has to stand for an established business and pull more than one job at once. It suits you if you:

  • Need to look credible to the clients, partners, and investors
  • Serve several audiences — customers, job seekers, media, partners — who each want a different path through the site
  • Want your team editing content directly instead of emailing a developer for every typo
  • Run bilingually and need real English and French versions, not a translation plugin
  • Expect the site to keep growing — new sections, services, and pages, as business grows

What's Included

  • A custom multi-page design shaped around your brand and the people you're talking to
  • Self-serve editing, so your team updates pages, news, and listings without waiting on us
  • Optional EN/FR done properly — correct structure and SEO for both languages, not a machine translation
  • A reusable design system that keeps new pages consistent as the site expands
  • Accessibility handled to WCAG — semantic markup, contrast, keyboard navigation
  • An SEO-ready foundation: clean markup, meta, and structured data on every page

How the Process Works

  1. Discovery (about 1 week). Kickoff call, audience mapping, sitemap, and a written brief with a fixed quote.
  2. Design (1–2 weeks). Wireframes first, then the full visual design system. You sign off before any code.
  3. Build (3–5 weeks). Hand-coded, with the content management setup and a staging link from day one.
  4. Launch (3–5 days). Cross-browser QA, DNS, SSL, analytics, monitoring — all handled.
  5. Warranty (30 days). Any bug we ship, we fix, free.

What you get that a template can't give you

A corporate site is usually where a business finds the edges of an off-the-shelf CMS. Twenty pages is fine. Two hundred, in two languages, with role-based editing and a redirect history, is where the plugin stack starts to strain.

Editing that doesn't need a developer. We built our own editor. It has a slash menu, tables, embeds, an image cropper, and composite blocks — CTA cards, feature grids, tip and warning boxes — that your marketing team can drop in without touching markup. The SEO panel and social preview sit in the same window, so nobody's jumping between five plugins to publish one page.

Permissions that go past "admin or not admin". A permission catalogue with policies at the domain level. An editor who should only see the blog sees only the blog. Two-factor authentication with recovery codes is standard, not a paid add-on.

URL changes don't break your search presence. Change a page slug and a 301 rule writes itself. If that page had already been moved once, the chain gets repointed and de-looped automatically. This is the kind of thing that quietly costs traffic on most sites for months before anyone notices.

Structured data maintains itself. Sitemap, robots.txt, and JSON-LD regenerate when content changes — they're wired to model observers, not to somebody remembering to click a button. Per-page noindex, separate crawl rules for AI bots, and llms.txt are all there.

Available integrations

A corporate site usually sits in the middle of systems that already exist. Most of the work is connecting them without adding another subscription to the stack.

What you connectWhat it does
CRM and marketing automationContact forms create records with full source attribution
Microsoft 365 or Google WorkspaceSingle sign-on for staff, calendar and directory data on the site
HR and ATS platforms (BambooHR, Workable, Greenhouse)Careers pages populate from your existing job board
ERP or accounting (NetSuite, QuickBooks, Xero)Client-facing figures pulled from the system of record
DocuSign and similarDocuments signed without leaving the site
Translation services and glossariesGroundwork for multilingual content workflows

Single sign-on, role mapping and audit requirements are handled at the application level. On a site with more than a handful of editors, that's where they belong.

What Drives the Price

Corporate website design starts at $4,000 CAD, fixed after discovery. What moves the number: how many unique page templates you need, whether the site is bilingual, how complex the content management setup is, integrations (CRM, careers/ATS, analytics), and any custom design or animation.

FAQ

How long does a corporate website take to build?

Typically 6 to 10 weeks end to end, including discovery and design sign-off. Bilingual sites and larger page counts sit toward the upper end of that range.

Can our team update the website ourselves after launch?

Yes. Every corporate site ships with built in Content Management System so your team can update pages, post news, and manage listings without a developer. We include a short handover walkthrough.

Do you build bilingual English and French websites?

Yes. We build proper bilingual sites with correct language structure and SEO for both versions — not a plugin that machine-translates on the fly.
